Isaiah 55:8-9 His Ways Are Higher

As I woke in the quiet darkness, today's confirmation on what to pray about came quickly. It is simple: glorify God and his ways.
I was led to Isaiah 55:8-9, where we will begin today, friends!
Step 2: Write. Read. Circle
Isaiah 55:8-9 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."
After reading the scripture three times, the following words stood out amongst the others:
My Thoughts
My Ways
Are Higher
Than You Ways
Your Thoughts
Step 3: Re-Write
With a focus on the words that stood out, here is the personalized sentence(s) placed upon my heart:
Jennifer, my thoughts, my ways, are higher than your ways, your thoughts.
Step 4: Visualize
As I meditated on the words the LORD blessed me with this morning, a clear vision of the night sky filled with millions of stars came to mind.
I imagine every star as a pathway to a new destiny or possibly a new dimension. As I notice some twinkle, some burn bright, some are red or colored, and some are white, each serves a purpose. Some produce life, others are a road to another place in the cosmos, but while each hangs what seems like above our heads, appearing still, the closer you examine each, the more you realize they are all a world within themselves.
It is impossible to begin to understand God's vision when he created the universe. It is functional yet mysterious. The universe is so incredibly vast, yet our creator holds it together. And if we dare venture to the polar opposite point of view, there are entire worlds we cannot see on a microscopic level that are hustling and bustling every day, which most of us are seemingly unaware of.
Now I think about God's kindness, which extends to the microorganisms of the earth being allowed to share the same view of the sky as we do. It is not a question of whether they can; it is a question of whether they believe there is a way to share the view or whether they remain blocked by objects that seem bigger than them, limiting their perspective. No matter how we turn or our perspective, God has already thought things out in great detail and in beautiful harmony, making you aware of what is relevant for you to follow him.
In fact, I think the message is to keep our faith and hold onto the wonder of God, knowing he created the path you will walk going forward today if you let him light the way. Take a moment to imagine what he might have planned and orchestrated for you. So go forward with confidence, friends, and find out!
Step 5: Ask. Seek
The words that came to mind were:
Holy Spirit, how can I stay in the flow of understanding that God is in control and instead of my plans, and I remain attuned to his light, which lights a path that is best for me, everyone, and everything around me?
Step 6: Hear. Write. Receive
"The more we understand the magnification of God, the more we marvel at the perfection of creation and the more we want to fit into the master plan. Everything he touches and creates is perfect. So let him take over your thoughts and keep his statutes to continue to hear his voice. Whenever you have let go and trust, falling deeper into his word and believing his promises, the more you understand his peace. He has the bird's eye view of all creation, including the universe, so if you only see what is immediately in front of you, ask him to go before you as he has with the stars lighting up the sky at night, never allowing darkness to overtake you. You can only see the results of his work, so don't walk in a dark place that he has not lit up yet. Instead, be grateful for all he is already doing and look for him everywhere and in everything, and surely he will light your way."
Step 7: Pray. Confirm
Father God, let me wait for you to share a light that directs my path in everything I do. Let me be patient since you are making my life beautiful like you have done with all creation and, like the stars, functional yet considerate of everything around me. Let me never lose a childlike wonder for all the miracles you are already doing in the heavens, even down to the microscopic level. I am excited to look for you, lighting the path for everything I should do to stay close to you and your greatness. I praise you today and always!
