Isaiah 11:15 - Fist Of Wind

Step 1: Pray. Select.

I have to admit, this morning was filled with distractions as I fought my way to my prayer spot. As I settled in, the Holy Spirit kept placing on my heart the word branch.

I began searching for scripture pertaining to what the Bible says about branches and came across Isaiah 11:1, which refers to the root of Jesse. As I began to read the entire chapter for more context, the Holy Spirit led me to pause on Isaiah 11:15. I knew at this point that this was the scripture the Lord wanted to discuss with me today.

Here is where I began my journey, friends. So I move to STEP 2.

Step 2: Write. Read. Circle

After reading the scripture three times, the following words stood out amongst the others:

Isaiah 11:15:

The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind, He will shake His fist over the River,
And strike it in the
seven streams,
And make men cross over dry-shod.

Step 3: Re-Write

With a focus on the words I circled that stood out, here is the personalized sentence that came alive in my heart.

  • Jennifer, destroy the tongue, with His mighty wind, His fist, seven streams.

If you are doing this alongside me today, add your name in front of your unique sentence so the Lord can speak directly to you.

Step 4: Visualize

I close my eyes to visualize my sentence, and immediately, I see a huge cloud swirling above in the sky. As the cloud continues to gain momentum and density, it begins to take the form of a fist.

The fist is the hand of GOD.

Its power is incredibly immense. Since the manifestation of the fist of God is made of the clouds themselves, the fist has the ability to appear or dissipate as quickly as it forms, appearing and disappearing like an invisible force out of thin air. However, just because it is derived from millions of water particles, once it takes shape, it is as solid as a rock.

I see it forming again, and this time it is rising high in the air, prepping to drop down and hit the earth’s floor. I hold my breath, bracing for impact as I notice it begins to drop. I can’t stop staring to see what will happen next. As it hits the ground, it sends a ripple effect beyond what the eye can see. In fact, it has such a massive impact that it is impossible to know the actual damage being caused.

The Holy Spirit tells me that this hand manifested as a result of people trying to predict the future or what will happen in the end times. Many tongues rose and told untruths, so the LORD’s hand or fist is putting an end to the lies and laying down the law of His truth, essentially shutting down the noisiness and confusion of the world to get our attention.

The Holy Spirit is telling me that the only one who has a plan is the LORD. Everywhere you go, you must go back to His word and his promises. All your answers are within the infinite wisdom and knowledge of the Most High and his living word, interpreted through the Holy Spirit, which is the Bible.

I have a question for the Holy Spirit, so I move to Step 5.

Step 5: Ask. Seek

The requests/questions that came to mind are:

  • Holy Spirit, when I see this fist of power, I can’t help but think of the end times and judgement. What do you want me to know to remain in your good graces?

Step 6: Hear. Write. Receive

Here is the answer I received:

“I am telling you that my word will stand in the end. It is finished. I am the author and the finisher. It is more powerful than any two-edged sword. If anyone claims to know my ways or predicts the final sign that I have told you, they are not me. The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29) . Look for me in all that you do. Speak of me with your tongue, but in my words. Do not allow the world to twist your perception and speak false things. Keep my ways and my statutes alive. Teach them like Christ taught and fought for you. It is the way, it is the only way. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God (Mark 10:25). The world is but a pebble under my fist, rely on my might and power to guide you to the entryway of the kingdom. But along the path, bring others with you. For there is room enough for all.”

Step 7: Pray. Confirm

Heavenly Father, I come to you through my Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah.

I am not fully clear on the things you have put in front of me today, but I trust that in due time, you will reveal your ways. I will not overanalyze the information, but rather remain a humble vessel for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear to interpret it.

Thank you for our daily bread and for knowing exactly how much I can handle.

Help me stay on the path of the straight and narrow and speak in a way that honors your teachings and makes you proud.

In the mighty name of Jesus - Amen!

Conclusion:

Friends, on days like today, I feel that the Lord has shown me that His way is the way, and He will lay down the law.

We must keep on the path of the straight and narrow and trust that whatever is still to be revealed will come at the right time, when we are ready to receive and handle it.

I feel this message serves as a reminder to be on watch for revelation, and know He has good plans for us.

God bless you. See you soon!
